JHB Living Wax Museum
On April 4th, parents and community members packed the gymnasium to spend an evening at JHB’s “Living Wax Museum.”
Each fifth grader chose a historical figure to research. They crafted an informative writing piece, created a visual, and dressed as that person would have. Additionally, many included props so that the listeners would have a better understanding of this person’s life achievements.
In order for the figure to come alive and teach the visitors about their life, visitors had to press a button on the visual. The figure would then orally present important facts and interesting information about their life. We had 100% student participation and attendance at this evening event.
