Community Folk Dance Night!
To: JHB Students Grades 1-5, Parents & Family
From: Mrs. Susan Paradis, JHB K-5 General Music Teacher
Please join us for an evening of dancing and fun as we celebrate dances from a variety of cultures. Each year, students in grades 1-5 learn several folk dances in music class. They learn “Sasha” from Russia, “The Chimes of Dunkirk” from France, “Seven Jumps” from Austria, and “Alabama Gal” from the United States.
Refreshments will be available for purchase from the JHB PTO—all items will be $1.00 each.
As an incentive, the class with the highest percentage of participation in this event will win an ice cream party provided by Mrs. Paradis!
In order to have an idea of how many people plan on attending this event, please RSVP by February 25th. HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!
Please return the bottom portion of this flyer to Mrs. Paradis or send an email to email@example.com
