Bean Buddies
Many of the fifth graders from James H. Bean have volunteered during their recess to be a “Bean Buddy.” This leadership position has been extremely helpful to the school’s youngest learners as they learn how to “do school.” The fifth graders greet students at the front door, walk younger students to their classrooms, eat breakfast with them, play with students on the playground, help during the kindergarten lunch, and assist staff with parent pick-up at the end of the day. These students have shown amazing leadership as they have begun the new year at Bean. #WeAreRSU18 #JHBdragons
