National Symbols
Kindergarten students at the James H. Bean School have been learning about important symbols, monuments, and celebrations that align with the kindergarten social studies standards. Some symbols and monuments they have learned about include the bald eagle (the national bird), the bison (the national mammal), the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the Statue of Liberty, the American flag, and many others. #WeAreRSU18 #JHBdragons
