Holiday Inferences and Traditions in 2nd Grade
Mrs. Chaput’s class, of James H. Bean, is welcoming the holiday season with thoughtful reading and creative projects. After reading The Carpenter’s Gift by David Rubel, students practiced making inferences using their background knowledge and text evidence. They wrote summaries of the story and then crafted festive Christmas tree trucks. Each wheel and tree showcased a special tradition from their own homes, celebrating the unique ways families honor the season. #WeAreRSU18 #JHBdragons
