From Rainforests to Writing – Exploring Habitats Through Literacy
Students in Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Bradstreet’s classrooms at James H. Bean School explored rainforest and savanna habitats and the fascinating animals that live there. To bring these units to life, they connected their learning to an informative writing unit. Students read and listened to a variety of nonfiction texts and then crafted their own informative writing pieces about the animals they studied. #WeAreRSU18 #JHBdragons
