CMP’s Safety City
Fourth and fifth grade students at JHB were treated to a visit from CMP’s Safety City. Bob, from CMP, taught students how to be safe and what not to do around power lines and other electrical equipment. Students were able to examine the specialized rubber gloves that lineworkers wear when dealing with the high voltages in power lines. As part of their magnetism and electricity unit, fourth graders have been learning about conductors and insulators.
