Cranky Crankensteins

Have you ever woken up a bit cranky? Mrs. Dutil’s second and third graders at the James H. Bean School have been working on literacy activities using the book “Crankenstein” by Samantha Berger where a little boy turns into a grumpy crankenstein when things don’t go his way. Learners discussed and wrote about story elements, character descriptions, and comparing and contrasting themselves to the character, Crankenstein. The students were able to identify what makes Crankenstein cranky as well as what would turn them into their very own Crankenstein! Happy Halloween, everyone! #WeAreRSU18 #JHBdragons
