Starting off Strong in Second
Second grade is off to a strong start in Mrs. Bibeau’s class at the James H. Bean School! The first few weeks have been focused on learning routines, practicing procedures, and building confidence as students adjust to new expectations. From organizing materials to collaborating with classmates, students are growing into a true community of learners.
Reading has also taken center stage, with mentor texts inspiring lively discussions. Students have practiced retelling stories, exploring characters, and learning new vocabulary in meaningful ways. These texts have sparked curiosity, strengthened comprehension, and made reading an exciting part of the day. #WeAreRSU18 #JHBdragons
